Terms of Service

By downloading, installing, or using Lume, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use Lume.

These Terms form a legally binding agreement between you and A Bit Stupid Company (“we,” “us,” or “our”) regarding your use of Lume.

You must meet the following requirements to use Lume:

• →You must be at least 18 years old.
• →You must be legally permitted to use a dating app in your jurisdiction.
• →You must not be a convicted sex offender.
• →You must not be prohibited from using Lume under any applicable laws.
• →You must have one Lume account — multiple accounts are not permitted.

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and password. Lume cannot and will not be liable for any loss or damage from your failure to keep your account credentials secure.

You agree to provide accurate, complete, and current information when creating your account. Providing false information — including using someone else's photos or identity — is a violation of these Terms and will result in immediate account termination.

You are solely responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

When using Lume, you agree NOT to:

You retain ownership of the content you post on Lume (photos, bio, messages). By posting content, you grant Lume a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use, display, and distribute your content solely for the purpose of operating the service.

You are solely responsible for your content. You represent and warrant that you own or have the right to post any content you share, and that your content does not violate any third-party rights or applicable laws.

We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these Terms or that we find objectionable, without notice.

Lume and all its original content, features, and functionality are owned by A Bit Stupid Company and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of Lume without our explicit written permission.

You may terminate your account at any time from within the app settings. Upon termination, your data will be deleted within 30 days in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, if we determine that you have violated these Terms, engaged in fraudulent or harmful behaviour, or for any other reason at our sole discretion.

Lume is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that Lume will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any defects will be corrected.

We are not responsible for the conduct of any user, whether online or offline. You use Lume at your own risk when meeting other users in person. Please exercise caution and common sense when meeting anyone from an online platform.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, A Bit Stupid Company shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use or inability to use Lume.

Our total liability to you for any claims arising from these Terms or your use of Lume shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim (if any).

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of Lume shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Himachal Pradesh, India.

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or in-app notification at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of Lume after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
